The cello set for beginners includes : Tailpiece ( Wittner brand), bridge ( Despiau brand), strings ( Jargar brand) or equivalent, soft case (black on the outside) and a fibreglass bow ( Holtz brand or equivalent).
When you buy or rent a set, you don't have to buy anything extra to play, except your spade rack. We suggest you take the Pic-Bois stand, a stand made in Quebec, or follow the advice of your teacher to make this choice.
All adjustments to the instrument are made by our craftsmen. Our instruments are made of maple, spruce and ebony.
We take back the kit at 70% - $200 reconditioning fee. Conditions: - The instrument must be in good condition - You must purchase an instrument of equal or greater value.
For a period of two years from the date of purchase, Wilder & Davis will repair the instrument if it is found to have a structural defect or if a defect appears. Structural defects include abnormal changes in neck tilt and angle, sagging or warping of the table, and warping of the ribs.
