At Wilder & Davis luthiers, we believe it is possible to change things for the better. We regard it as our duty to act responsibly, taking concrete steps, as befits a good corporate citizen. Through the initiatives we support – both locally and internationally – we seek to prove that music, business and civic involvement can contribute to the welfare of all.

Artistic involvement

Free workshops for students

We welcome the opportunity to visit teachers’ studios or classrooms to give workshops on the following topics: maintenance of stringed instruments and/or bows, history of violin making and/or bow making, how to make an instrument. Some teachers prefer to bring a group to our shop. Either way presentations are tailored to suit the level and age of the students and the format (workshop, demonstration, discussion) adjusted to meet the teacher’s needs.
